About Us

Taylor holds a bachelors from the College of William & Mary in Economics and a Masters in Applied Statistics from Penn State University. He is currently employed as a Data Scientist with Reveal Global Consulting. His previous work in the public sector spans several agencies. He was formerly a statistician at the Consumer Product Safety Commission and formerly an economist at the Bureau of Labor Statistics. He has a strong practical background with mathematics and statistical programming. Before coming to the Washington, D.C. area Taylor worked with the Global Research Institute researching development finance and international political economy. He has a working proficiency in Arabic and served as a teaching assistant in the Arabic Department and William & Mary for two years. He enjoys tabletop games, museums, and volunteering at the National Archives.

Taylor began Advance Tutoring LLC primarily as a way to give back to the community of upcoming scholars in the D.C. area. With competitive rates, he could leverage the knowledge he had accumulated from college and his career in a positive way that benefited students.
